About City Tree Services
Our professional and friendly team includes a consulting arborist, a lead climber, plant operators, project estimator, accounts and payroll and an office manager.Our Consulting Arborist: Tony Jansen – Consulting Arborist and Supervisor
City Tree Services founder Tony Jansen was brought up in a small country town, growing up around greenscapes and parks, which is when his appreciation for trees started.
During the late 1980s, Tony worked on golf courses as a greenkeeper enjoying the outdoor lifestyle, all the while seeing the trees and wondering how he could work amongst them.
In the late 1990s, Tony started City Tree Services, seeing Brisbane as the ideal place to bring up his sons and learn about his love of trees while enjoying the lifestyle the city offered.
Caring for people’s trees and enabling their own personal oasis to reach its full potential was a dream come true for Tony. It wasn’t long before his three sons joined him in the business.
With over 25 years of experience, Tony has experience in all facets of the Arboricultural industry, including:
